You rent a 3-bedroom apartment in a low-income neighborhood. Lutheran Social Services covered your first month’s rent, but now you need to assume the lease for your apartment. You use public transportation to get around. The children need to enroll in school immediately (as the school year has already begun) and needs to acquire school supplies immediately. You have Medicaid health insurance so you need to address the HIV status of the father (finding and maintaining medical support is imperative). There are several churches within a bus ride from your apartment complex and your family is looking for a church home.
During the third week of the simulation the Realville Public School will be closed for holiday.
